Unleashing Your Genius - Vol: 4

Description
GET YOUR TICKETS:
-RM 18 (rm8 goes towards your drink!)
-Seats (30) • Floor Seats (15) • Standing Room (30)
- 8pm, Wednesday August 10

Unleashing Your Genius was borne out of the belief that sharing your voice, your light, your genius with the world not only allows you to express yourself, unleash your creativity, and share your message with the world, but that it also gives permission for others to do the same.

'Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.’

We all have genius within us. Yet knowing you have a genius within doesn't make picking up a guitar or a paintbrush any easier. On the contrary, if we believe that "art" is for "artists" only, we live only as an observer and dreamer.

On Wednesday night, you'll hear how these artists found their way to let art into their lives. Unique stories of self-expression, we promise you’ll leave inspired to unleash your own genius!

OPEN MIC - Join us to share your genius with a warm and supportive crowd! A poem, a song, a cover of your favorite tune…we want to hear it! Just book your open mic spot here:

Open Mic lineup so far:
1) Larry Yap - poetry
2) ...hopefully you! ;)

Join us for a shot of creative inspiration, for soulful conversations with old and new friends over coffee/drinks, and for a night that’ll inspire you to unleash your own genius. Come alone, or bring friends. Either way, you’ll meet a new crowd to mingle with!

And as always, feel free to join the artists afterwards to freestyle and create fun music on the fly!

On this night, rm8 of your cover charge will go towards your drink and rm10 will go towards Achievers Academy, formerly called Pandawas Academy. This is an amazing refugee school and community center serving 93 students from Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, Pakistan, etc and in desperate need of funding to stay open during the interim while finding a new long term funding source.
